Coast/Beach
Our nearest beach is 1 hour away by car and from there you have a choice of resorts to visit. All the normal activities you would associate with major coastal resorts are available here.
Golf
There is a new 18 hole golf course open in Sierra Elvira 20 minutes from the house.
A second new course run by Santa Clara is just south of Granada and 40 minutes drive from the farmhouse.

Skiing
The Ski resort in the Sierra Nevada is less than an hour by car, this is the southernmost ski resort in Europe and was the host of the 1996 world ski championships. All abilities are catered for including adaptive skiiers. Equipment hire and expert tuition are available from the many shops and hire centres in the town. Whether you want to ski everyday or just a couple of days Delahoja apartment is perfectly located.
Special interest holidays
We can arrange for all manner of activities for the more adventurous. Walks, Horse Riding, Quad Biking, Parapenting, Gorge Walking, Rock Climbing and of course Skiing to name a few. Please let us know prior to your stay and we will organise for you.
Travel
Our nearest airport is Granada (25 minutes drive)they have daily flights from Stansted and Liverpool (Ryanair).
Malaga and Almeria Airports are both approx 90 minutes drive.
Distances
We are mid way between two towns ( Moclin & Puerto Lope ) 2km in each direction, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Our closest larger towns are Alcala la Real which is a 10 to 15 minute drive away, and the city of Granada which is less than half an hours drive.
